If the SNR less than 8 dB don’t send data,
8<SNR<17 use QPSK
17<SNR<22.5 use 16-QAM
larger than 22.5 use 64-QAM
And assume the transmitter have the value of SNR.
Then,the TRANSMITTER only will be as the next figure
If the SNR less than 8, don’t send data ,and if SNR=10, then the first path only will work sending data using QPSK
Then, If SNR=18, then the second path only will work sending data using 16-QAM
