SIMULINK For Adaptive Modulation In 4G Wireless Communications

After measuring the performance using MATLAB (m-file) or BER tool, the performance curves will be like 


Then to show the idea of switching between modulation schemes to make the BER of the system less than 10^-3,i will use the simulink. 
Using the same values of SNR from the previous figure for switching between modulation schemes  but using 3 modulation schemes (QPSK, 16-QAM and 64-QAM) then the thresholds will be 

If the SNR less than 8 dB don’t send data,
8<SNR<17            use  QPSK
17<SNR<22.5       use  16-QAM 
larger than 22.5   use   64-QAM

And assume the transmitter have the value of SNR.
Then,the TRANSMITTER only will be as the next figure 

  
If the SNR less than 8, don’t send data ,and if SNR=10, then the first path only will work sending data using QPSK 

 
Then, If SNR=18, then the second path only will work sending data using 16-QAM
